I am trying to find any information about Peter McGowan/Mc Gowan/MacGowan who married in Scotland about 1844/5 to Mary Ann (someone). they had two surviving children William and Jane who, with their mother, moved to Birkenhead about 1860.
I am not interested in anyone not called Peter and who was not living in Scotland in 1846.
