I am researching the Toland Family from Clonmany, County Donegal, Ireland. In that search, I am seeking information on Richard McGranaghan b.1904 son of Margaret McGranaghan from Oldtown, Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland. He appears on the manifest of steamship The Columbia that arrived at Ellis Island New York from Londonderry Ireland on October 4, 1924. Richard’s final destination was Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He may have settled there permanently?
Also aboard was a John Toland b.1905 from Roxtown, Clonmany, County Donegal, Ireland. His mother was Francis McGranaghan-Toland. I believe they were cousins?
Any information would be sincerely appreciated.
