My greatgrandfather, Martin McHale, was born in Quebec, Canada about 1840. He moved to Waterville, NY as an infant, fought in the Civil War, and died about 1918.

Helene McHale, now of Arizona, probably can tell you whether this is a fruitful connection. Meanwhile, please tell me if you want to discuss this further.
