My father, Thomas McHale, born 1900 in Largan, Co. Mayo, Ireland had a sister who moved to Liverpool, England and married. I believe most of the Mayo people went to that part of England, or to the eastern U. S. like my father did to Brooklyn, N.Y. Hope this information is helpful.
