My gggg grandmother was Mary Tighe nee Mary McHale from Ireland, probably County Mayo. She came to Ontario in 1850 something as a widow with children. My hunch is that she had brothers in the area. Her daughter Dorothy married Thomas Judge and they lived in Bedford Twp, Ontario and were married in the 1850s. One of her other daughters may have married someone named Haley or Halsy. She moved to Michigan with the Judge family. They had come in the 1870s or 1880s to Isabella County in Winn. If your McHales may be related to Tighes and Judges, let me know. Pam
