I am originally from Barleydean, Rosewell, Midlothian, Scotland.I am corresponding with Shona McHale from Co.Mayo, and I think you are both from the same Family of Barleydean McHales.I have an interactive database of Barleydean census 1881 and 1891 on my McHale Page at .I think you'll find your ancestors there.The names are spelled MAC KAIL and McKAIL.
