Responding to a post that is 3 years old but so what...

My grandfather, Peter McHale is from Co Mayo...born in a town called Ballina in 1909. He moved to NYC (the Bronx) around 1929 or so (during the depression). He had two sons, Peter McHale who now lives in Centereach & my father, James Joseph McHale who lives in Bayside, NY (Queens). My Uncle, Peter McHale, had two sons, Peter and Brian McHale and my father, two daughters, Heather McHale (me) and my sister Alexandra McHale. I don't know how much help this is but the name William J McHale from Co Mayo who arrived here in the US a few years earlier than my Grandfather sounded vaguely familiar to me.
