It may be of interest for you to know that a family of Michael 42, a tailor, and wife Margaret McHale 38 both born Ireland, were living in Blackburn Lancs and in the census of 1881 they had children Mary 13, Sarah 10, John 8, Margaret 4, Anne 2. John was my great grandfather and he emigrated to Boston Mass. circa 1920's. His son John did not hence I still live here in Blackburn. I have posted quite a bit of info to other people re: our family originating from County Mayo.

top o' the mornin'!!!!!!!!!
