I have McHale relatives who came from County Mayo in Ireland to Canada. My great great grandmother was Mary McHale Tighe (widow of James) who came to Frontenac County Ontario in the late 1840s. She brought four daughters with her Dorothy (Thomas Judge), Mary (Michael Haley or Healy), Jane (John Troy), and Ann (James Jordan). Her daughter married after she came to Canada. Mary was accompanied by her brother John McHale who was a music teacher. Mary and John were niece and nephew to Archbishop John McHale, Bishop of Tuam. I noticed that your Peter's children's boys' names match up with the brothers in Mary McHale's father's family.
