The various biographies of Archbishop John MacHale are not entirely consistent in describing his siblings, but at least three of his brothers may have had families:
Martin is believed to have had two daughters;
Patrick is believed to have had two sons, Dominick and Thomas;
Edward is believed to have had two sons, John and Patrick.
The Archbishop's mother was a Mary (Mulchiarain) and he also had a sister Mary, but I have no further information about her.
