I have a photograph of a Bishop McHale, but I don't know if it's the same one this message board is about. Here's the info I have:

My mother wrote in our family photo album:

Bishop McHale, James McHale's cousin
County Fermanagh, Ireland--1893
Born approx. 1820 in Ireland. Distant cousin of Mary Ann.

On the back of the photo is written the following:

Bishop McHale
Grandpa McHales cousin

Mary Ann McHale McGuire's father's cousin

We are related to the McGuires. The photo shows him in his full formal bishop vestments which looks like a dress (cassock) with a lacy apron over it. He's seated.
