You have a bunch of Irish relatives in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Mary McHale Tighe who was the archbishop's niece left Ireland in about 1848 and went to Canada. Her husband, James, died enroute but she arrived with four daughters.
Those daughters all married and there are many descendants in Michigan. Mary had three other children so there may be others somewhere. Mary's brother, John McHale who taught music, also came with her and they both moved to Michigan to live with Mary's daughter, Dorothea (Dorothy) Judge and her husband, Thomas. Luckily, Thomas could support all these relatives plus his own twelve children! I would love to know the names of Mary's parents. She is buried in the cemetery in Mount Pleasant and so is John McHale, her brother.
