Richard, My grandfather (Francis Charles Sweeney) had a brother named Myles and none of the other Irish kin had that name in their family so now I know where that comes from. His other brothers were Thomas, John, James, and Raymond and his sister was Mary Agnes. He was a typical Irish story teller and told me about the archbishop and his great grandmother being the archbishop's niece. His grandmother Dorothy Tighe Judge looks like the archbishop in that picture from Hilary Andrew's book. Mary McHale Tighe must be the daughter of Thomas. It sounds as if Edward's children stayed in Ireland.
Has anyone been in touch with any of Edward's living descendants?
