Information re: James Edward McHone, Bighill, KY

In 1945 my mother married James Edward McHone in Palm Beach, FL. He was born in Bighill, KY, around 1925 (or 1917). There were three of us children, Phyllis Ann (1946), myself (1947), and Nancy (1950). James Edward McHone was a cabinet maker, and I believe that he was missing a finger on one hand. His father was Jesse James McHone, who was still residing in Bighill, KY in 1956. James Edward had a brother named John, sisters named Francis, Marie, and Grace and more. Grace McHone married a man named Caleb French. John McHone married a woman named Rhetta and in 1956 they lived in Berea, Kentucky. I understand that James Edward is now residing somewhere in California. I would be interested in any information that someone could provide in regards to my family on the McHone side. I also understand that my father's geneology includes Native Americans. I would very much like to know which tribal group this was. Thank you.
