I have a daniel McIlwee, son of daniel McIlwee & Mary Carr, born abt 1806 in ireland Died 11 September 1870 in Torrance of Campsie, Scotland.He married Margaret Sharkey , born in Ireland about 1824 Diede 13 JANUARY 1898 in LambHill Glasgow. They supposedly came from Ireland in the 1840,s to Torrance of Campsie.
Their children were
Charles born before 1855
James 28 Feb 1856
Daniel 29 September 1858
Michael about 1861
Helen about 1866


Daniel married Mary Jane McNeill30 December 1898 in garnethill Glasgow, witness was a Charles McIlwee possibly his brother. At this time he was staying in Lambhill.
Their children
Daniel born about 1900-died 1918 KIA France World War One
Margaret Born 26 February 1902 Maryhill Glasgow
Mary
John Died 1980,s Glasgow

Margaret Was my grandmother she married James McMaster 1938 They had two sons James Daniel and Duncan.

Daniel born in 1858 was a miner but was injured in a mining accident,
