Margaret McIlwee married Michael Hamill.

Two sons born 1866 & 1871. James became a British soldier, and married Annie Mcnamee in County Tyrone in 1895.

Margaret widowed in 1894. Who was she? When was she born?
She was my great great grandmother.

Her descendants can be found today in Belfast, London, Ipswich, South Africa, New York, Nebraska, Virginia, Florida, Missouri, Australia, Spain, Paris etc.

Anyone have a McIlwee family in County Tyrone in mid to late 1800's?
