Patrick McIlwee (should be McElwee)lived in Gallany, Strabane and is listed in Griffiths 1858 where the spelling of the name is incorrect. He originated from Kilmacrennan Donegal and married Ellen Rodden from Termon Donegal. He was a stone mason and worked on the Donegal railway which is how he ended up in Strabane. He was my great great grandfather. We do not have any Margaret's but Gallany is known as "McElwee" country and I am currently researching other connections in the vicinity. Any help?
