Looks good. Not sure whether John was born in Calais, ME or New Brunswick...datais conflicting. Is oldest of 9 children 2 thru 7 b. in ME..8&9 b. in Nova Scotia... Haven't been able to trace father David beyond the 1881 Canadian census...was in Pictou, Nova Scotia at that time....not certain of his parents though there's a faint link to Andrew McIntosh b1798 & Katherine McKenzie b1800 both in Scotland....needs more work also uncertain where & when David & Margaret died though it appears they returned to ME

your note of a Rosannah McClasky(Margaret's sister?) in the 1860 US census opened the door to Margaret's lineage. Father & mother appear to be John & Rosannah McCloskey both b. in Ireland...lived in New Brunswick and had 12 children including Margaret..can't seem to get them back to Ireland

any more thoughts???

Many thanks for the help
