William McIntosh is my grandfather in the following record and I am trying to find more info on him. He was born ca 1776-1780 and died in Alexander Co., IL after the 1830 census. It is believed he married Bathsheba Smith in Randolph before Illinois became a state in 1818. he is kin to the McIntosh's in Robertson Co., Tn., Logan Co., Ky before they came to those locations from Caswell C., NC.

5 Apr 1809 Wm. Parks vs Henry Johnson, ordered that the defdt. have a depo take the deposition of John Karr, in the Ohio County Kentucky, William McIntosh in Randolph County in the Indiana Territory by giving twenty days notice (Records of Robertson Co. County Court Minute Book Vol 2 1808-1811
