Benjamin McIntosh whose will is 11 Sep 1815 Johnson, IL, mentions a son Joshua. He says at the death of his wife Frances the cattle to be given to Joshua, the cattle and all the other property. It SOUNDS as if Joshua is one one the older children, already out on his own--but maybe not. see my website: http://www.tctwest.net/~elafollette
and look under the state of Illinois date of 11 Sep 1815.
There is also Joshua 1850 census Livingston IL, one in Choctaw Mississippi, and Washington, Missouri
