I am a descendant of Mary McKechnie who migrated to Victoria AUSTRALIA - Married a William Brown, who was a captian of a ship that brought Asian Immigrants to New Zealand and Australia, once Mary and William wed, they moved to Maori Creek Greymouth, there my grandfather was born in 1910 - I dont know much about them, but am trying to find out more
