Don`t know anything about this family except that if you look at Bureau of Land Management site http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/PatentSearch/ for Peter McKee in Indiana on the image itself it says Peter McKee of Franklin County Ohio land in Blackford County In 11/10/1840 Fort Wayne. Looking in Franklin county Ohio, perhaps in the 1840 census, might help
