I have a brochure on the Sinking Spring Cemetery" which has the following information:

"The McKee family monument (pictured), a broken shaft symbolizes early death which was common in the 18th and 19th centuries. william McKee, a prosperous merchant, lived to be 50 years old, but his wife, Phoebe Elizabeth, died at 31. Their daughter Julia Ann died aged 13, their son Decatur at the age of one, and a second son, Henry Ogden drowned at 28. The wreath at the top of the column symbolizes eternal life in heaven, while a woman mourns at the base."

I am not researching these people and have no further information.
