Thank you, Larry, but it isn't the Sinclairs I'm digging for. They are simply tied in with the David McKees, who may tie in earlier with my Samuel.
I have the names of all Sam & Eliza's children and spouses. Hiram md. Sarah Jane Cunningham, tho her parents are shown to be John & Eliza Work?? Did you see the grave of Hiram's wife??
How do you patent a lot?
My search is for the father of Samuel and Capt. Robert McKee, who in 1775 raised the Independence Co
. of Riflemen of Wesmor. Co. Volunteers, with Capt. Thos. Robinson, with George Washington at Princeton, Brandywine and encamped at Valley Forge.
The latter part of his life was spent defending from indians and on his farm where he died Nov., 1813 at age 75.near Cabin Hill in Rose Fountain Hollow, "Amaghi"
He was a brother of my Samuel McKee, a sgt. who rode with him, d. 1780, in Westmorland too.
A 1927 newpaper article said homage was paid to both at a cemetery at Greensburg.
Donna
