Notes for JOHN A. MCKINDREE:
Hi Troy:
With the new information on Frank, I went again to the books in our library
and working on the assumption that the 28y/o female"Bill" was probably
Belle and that the Julia McKendrie was probably related.I feel that the
following listing is "Probably " Bill or Belle McCarley's family:
1850 Tenn. Census, Vol 3-4 lists:
McKindria, John A.49County Codes: F=Fayette
, Rusalu14T=Tipton
, William12V=Van Buren
, virginia10
, Belle8
, Martha6
, Julia3
VaT, F-1223-640(At the end of the listing of names.)
**Note the abscence of an adult female in the above group.
Pg. 358 1840 Tenn Census, by Sistler:
McKinday(?) Jno A. **HY399County Code:HY=Haywood
100001-11001
Thus : 1 Male 0-5
1 Male 40-50
1 Female 0-5
1 Female 5-10
1 Female 30-40
**The (?) after McKinday was in the printed book. With this being a near
county and the questionable spelling, and the name JOhn A.,the ages of the
family above seem to agree with the one further above.Afemale of adult
age is present in this census.

FROM THE NATIONAL BANNER & NASHVILLE ADVERTISER (Wed. Jan 18, 1832)***
***I gather that the date given is the date the Newspaper was published. No
other date was given.
Note:Lauderdale, Tipton, Haywood, Fayette & Hardeman Counties are in west
Tennessee and just across the Tennessee River from Arkansas!
>From TENNESSEE GAZETEER 1834, PAGE 69,Editedd by Robert M. McBridge,
published 1971.
1864.On the first Thursday and Friday in March an election was held for 60
delegates in pursuance of an act of the General Assembly of the
state.........and the following persons were elected... for the county of
Haywood & Tipton -William H. LOVING.
The Constitution of the State of Tennesse includes the signature of William H.
LOVING among others.
I feel that the above census information is Belle(Bill) McKendrieMcCarley
and that HER motherwas a LOVING and that probably the William H. Loving is
related to her.
