I saw old postings re James McKINLAY & Isabella PRYDE. They are my ggg grandparents. They married 6 October 1838 in Newbattle Midlothian Scotland. Their children: Catherine 1839, George 1843, Ellen 1845, Agnes 1847, Elizabeth 1850, William 1852, John 1854, James 1857, Janet 1858 & Charles 1861, all born in Newbattle. George married Mary Beveridge in 1867, one of their sons was James, my great-grandfather, their other children were George, William, Isabella, Jane & Robert.
