I think we might be corresponding on Ancestry too? Anyway, My Martha was one of 3 or 4 girls born in Lauderdale Co., Al to Alexander and Margaret Garrett Mcknight ( all born between 1820 and 1830). They came to MO in 1837, and my martha is the only one I can track. I suppose it's feasible she could be a sister to my Martha since she married so young. Martha was born in 1820, and on the 1830 census there were 2 girls in the 5 -10 yr. catagory. The only way we'd ever know is if you have a direct FEMALE descendant do DNA and match ours. There is a Thomas on the 1830 census as well, but his Mary (check the Subsequent Lauderdale censuses) was alot older. We're going to upgrade of DNa for more info, so email me your regular email address, so I can update you then. cjlincoln@charter.net
