McGlemre/McGlamre/McGlamry seems to have been a distinct family from the McLemores, at least on this side of the Atlantic. And nowhere is that more evident than in the Greenville - Southampton County area of the Virginia Southside, where the two families live in close proximity to each other, yet Clerks of Court and others had little difficulty keeping the two separate.
It is entirely possible, however, that there is or was a connection between the two families on the other side of the Atlantic, in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the Hebrides, though that will have to be researched more to determine. But McGlamery seems to be a possible derivative of MacGillemuire, as McLemore has already been positively shown to be, so they are quite possibly related "over there".
