Ann, my great grandfather is Charles (nickname Hent or Hint) McLemore and from what have been told by older relatives he was in born in Tallapoosa, GA. His wife was Nancy Adams McLemore. BUT, according to his Death Certificate, he was born 01/02/1867 and died 05/31/1941. This may not be the person you are looking for but I guess it is possible... Also, Charles' dad was John McLemore. Let me know what you think.
