I think, that the "others" who worote this below didn't know who /what her first husband's name is, only surname, FINCH. At the bottom of this, and I am usually good about copying a source in my notes for review later, but seems I didn't add it here,. I think it was a Google book, anyway, at the bottom of this paragraph it says she has a child, Finch.
If you contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will send tht and the Web site locations. I DO have the page and Source documment added at the bottom though, Since I am reading these notes as a tool, I kind of don't want to post if it may upset someone's copyright. Margaret who was b. 1600 m. William Finch first, then Col. John Flood. She would have to have a maiden name, which, if same Margaret, to be Henshaw, and I think this marriage must not be known to many folks?
My John J. Finch m. Martha Frisbey of NY have children (1840s) Francis, William, Matthew Finch (their son listed on the San Jacinto Monument).
The other, "others" were family members who had researched some of the ancestors and had dates and marriage only. They are all deceased now. The reason I suspect/believe they are the same Margaret is the date, proximity, and the same family groups that join in my lines, over and over again.
I know I saw it on a Google Book and must have bookmarked it. Will see if I can find it for second mention.
