Kylie,
In a much earlier message James McLemore III said that he thought the family crest would have been the McIllmorrow crest from which family history would say that was the orignal name in the "ole country". But I have just gotten back into the research and do not know if he had published the new book he had in mind for years. In that post he said he had things he had researched which had not been published. With his death I hope that research hasn't been lost to all of us. I hope the helps in some small way!
