Hello Carl,
I believe we are searching for the same James Andrew McLin
born 1859-1860 in Hardin County and died 1939 in Pottawatomie County, OK. I am related to his first wife, Charity Branch, daughter of Joseph Branch and Rebecca Bullion. James married Charity Branch in Decatur County, Tennessee Dec 22,1879., G. W. Hartley. My Branch Families and Faulkner families were in Cerro Gordo, Hardin County, Tennessee in the 1840 census. They moved to Decatur County, Tennessee before 1880. I would like to compare notes with you. Do you know James Andrew's parents and grandparents?
I have a Luiza Jane McLin born Dec 13, 1849 and died Nov 3, 1918. She married a Francis Marion Faulkner in Decatur County abt. 1876. Both are buried in Hartley Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee. Let me know if you would like to share info.
