I hope you are still researching the McLin line. Could your John McLin be the one that married Rebecca Anderson, b. 1787, Guilford Co., NC? They married 03 Feb 1806 in Sumner Co., TN. Rebecca died in 1825. Is she buried in the McLin cemetery? Did he marry Catherine after 1825?

I am researching the Andersons.
