Greetings Maureen : I saw your posting and I am also looking for a Michael MCMANAMON , actually two . The father was Michael MCMANAMON ,c.1850-c.1904, married to Bridgett MALIM c.1850-1914 ; both probably dying in or around Pittston ,Pa, not too far from Sugar Notch . I have been unable to establish a link with the Sugar Notch MCMANAMON's, although it is a logical jump. The other is the son : Michael MCMANIMON , c.1874-after 1921 ; known siblings are : my grandmother Margaret MCMANIMON MCHUGH of Browntown , Pittston,Pa, Mrs.James REDDINGTON ,Mary ,John ,James ,Michael ,& Matilda "Tillie" MCMANAMON FLANNELLY of Dunmore ,Pa. John ,James and Michael later used MACK as a surname . Please let me know if you see any possible links. Thanks, Joe McHugh, Cape Elizabeth,Me. [email protected]
