Judy,

Forsyth, Ga is in Monroe County: Monroe County, GA County Courthouse / P.O. Box 189 / Forsyth, GA 31029-0189. That is three counties north by northeast of Marion County.
There is also a Forsyth County that is one county north by northeast of Fulton County (Atlanta), approximately 150 miles north of Marion.

I don't know if your McMickles travelled that much or not, but with the rarity of the name, it appears that most of our McMickles are related.
