The McNasser name is vary rare and there are at least two spelling varients, McNassor and MacNasser that I am aware of.

My McNassers are from Carly Parish, Sligo County Ireland. The family settled in Vermont in the 1830's. At least one branch of the family headed west and was in Denver - this branch changed the spelling of the name to McNassor.

I have a James born in 1824 in Ireland. Wife's name was Mary. They had a son James born in 1847. James Sr. died in California. I have no other information down this line, but more details on ancestors and siblings.
