Wondering if anyone knows of the following line:

William McPHERREN/AN b abt 1802 PA; married Martha (maybe WHARTON, d/o Joseph and Mary WHARTON b IRE 1783 & 1786)
CH: James b abt 1843, Samuel b abt 1846, John b abt 1838, Adam b abt 1841.

They're in Huntingdon Co , Franklin Twp PA in 1850 census.

Looks like William dies by 1860 census when Mary is shown in same place with the four boys and her Mother (?) Mary.
In 1850 census, Wm is described as "insane".

In 1870 we find ADAM:
1870 Clearfield Co (Phillipsburg) Decatur Twp

Adam McFerron 29 Coal Miner b PA
Mary 31 "
Newton 1
Elizabeth Riley 10

Adam & Mary McFerron do not appear after the 1870 census.

The 1880 census shows: (BARR's are Mary's parents)
1880 Decatur, Clearfield Co PA
BARR, David 65 Carpenter b PA m/f b Pa
Elizabeth 64
Mitchell 28 (son) Miner
MC FERREN,N(ewton) 12 gr son
" Alton 9 gr son all b pa m/f's b PA

Did Adam and Mary die between 1870 & 1880?

I am following back the line of Newton I McPherran b 1861.
Newton was in Mifflin some time after 1880 where I presume he died (wife Ida Bousum).
