Captain Henry McQuade Dead

Former Tug Boat Master and Well Known North End Resident

The death of Capt Henry McQuade, which took place at 8 o'clock last evening at his home, 168 Main Street, removed a well known and much respected resident of Indiantown. McQuade was 67 years of age and was well known along the river and in lumber circles. He had been master of the tug Dirigo, and afterwards of the Sunshine, owned by the Fredericton Boom Company. For about a year, he had been suffering from paralysis which finally caused his death.
The deceased was born in Westfield, but came to this city when a young man, and was well known. He is survived by his wife, 2 children, 3 sisters. The children are Harry and Miss Catherine of this city. The sisters are Mrs. J. Travis of Westfield and Mrs. J. Shaw of this city.
