My McQuade's are from Monaghan, Ireland. I have gotten back to a Joseph McQuade born c.1748. He married an Elizabeth ?. One of their children was John McQuade. He had many siblings. He changed the spelling to MCQUAID. He married a Margaret ?. One of their many children was William McQuaid born Monaghan, Ireland. He married Mary O'Neill, daughter of Joseph and Catherine O'Neill and they had seven children. They were the one who immigrated to Kingston, Ontario, and they had MANY MANY MANY descendants including me.
