My GG-Grandfather was Charles McQuade and his wife was Mary McCullough from Tyrone County, Ireland. 1850 Census a Francis McQuade age 77 living with them, I believe this is his father. He had 5 children born in Ireland the last born in 1846, 2 more were born in Lowell, Ma. the first was born October 01, 1847. My G-Grandfather Francis Patrick McQuade married Margaret McQuade. My grandmother used to tell me they were not related and she was from County Cork. Margaret was alos in Lowell, Ma. in 1850 but she had a sister Ann born in New Brunswick in 1847. Most of my family I believe stayed in Ma. But to brothers came to Indiana Dearborn Co. James was here by 0ct 1865 because he got married then, my g-grandmother was here by 1880 with her 3 boys & my G-Grandfather Francis Patrick McQuade was living with his sister in Providence, R.I. He spent a lot of years in the Navy and sent his family ahead. Francis and Margaret had 3 boys George R. who was my grandfather, James E. And Francis Bernard? Sounds like they might repeat a little bit. My G-Grandfather's brother had 4 boys Charles, Francis, John, & william
