This is Gerald Scott Anderson, nephew of Homer Lewis McQuaid. Here is what I know about the McQuaid lineage.
Three McQuaid boys came from Scotland to New York in 1790 and then parted, one going to Canada, one Westward and one south to Pewton, Virginian, who married Lewise and had two children, one boy (Lewis) and one girl (Betty). The boy, Lewis McQuaid, was born Sept 6, 1807. Their father was killed in the War of 1812. Lewis married in Virginian between 1825 and 1830 to ??. They had 3 children, 1 boy (John) and 2 girls. Later Lewis and his son John went West and Lewis married again in June 1846 in Blumington, IL to ??. They had 6 children between 1846 and 1860: Rachel, Parry, Huston, Lewis L., Margaret [McQuaid] Pluab and Rauth. Lewis L. McQuaid (b. Sept 5, 1855 in Blumington, IL, died May 3,1936 in Kansas City, Kansas) married Martha Elen Dillon (b. 1857, d. 1911 of Gallstones). They had six children (two died at birth), Charles Gilbert McQuaid (b. Jan 10, 1880, d. Nov 1922), Anna Ardell [McQuaid] Stranathan (b. May 11, 1882) married Porter Stranathan), Homer Horres McQuaid (b. Oct 5, 1884, d. May 23, 1937), Ralph Rex McQuaid (b. June 7, 1894).
Homer Horace McQuaid (born Oct 5, 1884 in Iowa, died May 23, 1937 in Kansas City) married on Oct 10, 1919 in Kansas City, MO to Myrtle Evangeline [Wyman] McQuaid (born Oct 24, 1896 in Des Moines, died Aug 6, 1961). They had two children, Homer Lewis McQuaid and Carolyn Lora [McQuaid] Anderson (born Feb 20, 1926 in Los Angeles, died Mar 22, 1995). Homer's wife, Evelyn Andros, was born on Jan 1, 1922 in Chicago, IL. They had six children: Steven Lewis McQuaid (b. Nov 3 or 7, 1944 in Chicago), Tommy James Mickel McQuaid (b. May 4, 1946), Nancy Lee McQuaid (b. Apr 23, 1947), Cheryl Susan McQuaid (b. Dec 12, 1948), Michel Patrik McQuaid (b. Mar 9, 1950), Robert Anthony McQuaid (b. Nov 14, 195?). Carolyn Lora [McQuaid] Anderson married Robert Lincoln Anderson (b. Feb 12, 1922 in Dillworth MN). They had two children. Linda Cheryl [Anderson] Davenport (b. Mar 12, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA) and Gerald Scott Anderson (b. Feb 26, 1950 in Inglewood, CA).
Here is the lineage of Myrtle [Wyman] McQuaid. Myrtle's parents were Albert Jabez Wyman (b. June 17, 1868 in Three Rivers, MI) and Lora Myrtle [North] Wyman (b. June 20, 1871 in LeGrand, IA, died 1953? and buried in Rose Hils Los Angeles), married Mar 15, 1890 in Des Moines, IA. Lora's parents were Lorenzo Dow North (b. Jan 25, 1846 in Darke County, OH), d. Dec 15, 1927) and Caroline A. Thompson (b. Dec 6, 1845 in Iowa, d. June 7, 1928 in Los Angeles, CA), married Jan 25, 1870 in Winterset, IA). Caroline Thompson's parents were John W. Thompson (b. Apr 30, 1811) and Isabella Jenkins Warren (b. Dec 9, 1819, d. Dec 21, 1892).
