sorry, you're John McQuade would be the uncle to the bishop and to my ancestor, john McQuaid. disgaurd the previous response. My ancestor, William McQuaid, was born 1810 in Ireland (prob. Tyrone). His father was John McQuaid/McQuade. I have siblings of William: John, Bernard, Mary Ann and James. Bernard went to New Jersey, Mary Ann, James, and William went to Ontario, Canada, John went UNKNOWN. could my john be u're john mcquade?
