Hello Jean
Thank you for your reply, yes i would be very interested in a copy of the death certificate of the father William Mc Quaker.
Please can you tell me then if you are a descendant?
I am doing research for a friend who is a grt grt grt grandaughter of William the son, her name is Mhairi Mitchell and lives in Livingston Scotland. She would be very pleased to know about this indeeed!
I just wondered as well if you know if the family or members of the family emigrated to Canada in 1881? If not its not the same family.
I have a marriage certificate of Janet their daughter and subsequent ones for descendants, or info on marriages and births up until present date if you are interested. I may also have other info of interset based on the local area around SIXPENCE FARM.
Thank you again for you reply
Gillian
