hi jean and gillian, i am a mcquaker desecndant in canada and am full of information on our family here in canada.i am also missing alot of info which i could use help with.i know jean has a copies of death certificates which i would love to have emailed to me.truckersgf@hotmail.com. well here are some short stories i hope will be of use to you both.
williams story
william came to canada 1898.he tilled drains with his dad. at age 36 he married annie ferguhson a 19 yr old scottish emigrant.got married fall of 1909, and lived in pinewood.1st child=margaret born sept 29 1910 ( annies 20th b day ), 2nd= william andrew born apr 10 1912,3rd= mary born nov 30 1913, 4th= hazel born feb 16 1916. williams homestead was 160 acres in patulla township. in 1917 his 4 youngest were born, isabel born 1918, james john born 1920, norman agnes born 1923, and jean a stillborn. william and annies house burned down and later rebuilt. the house was left to two youngest carson and norman. norman was killed in action in germany.carson sole owner married iris peterson and lived there till 1964.when it was sold to hoglands of emo township,william and annie moved to emo frojm patullo in 1945. william died age 85 in 1975.
