I have recently been seeking information about my grandmother, Flora McQuiban (born Dallas,1882, died Dallas 1942, but lived the greater part of her life in Glasgow) and in the process have found some material relating to her mother, father, grandfather etc. I began with a very small information base as my late father left Scotland for Australia as a boy of 17 and all his siblings are now dead also. It appears that none of the family knew a great deal about her background anyway but I would be very interested in sharing the information I now have.
