Recurring first names in the McShane family

I was once told that a good clue to an Irishman's father's name is what that Irishman named his first son. If my ancestors followed that tradition, my great-great-grandfather's (BERNARD's) father's name would have been FRANCIS. Bernard's other sons were JAMES, CORNELIUS, EDWARD HENRY, JOHN DANIEL and ALBERT PATRICK. I would like to hear from anyone who has these same first names in their McShane family.
