I have the following McShane names:

GEORGE MCSHANE of Dungannon married to JOANNE KINGSTON
Their daughter MARY ANN MCSHANE married EUGENE CLARKE of Drogheda (b. Carrickmacross, 1824) at St. Audoen's RC Church, Dublin March 1857. Their first son was called "James Bernard Clarke" b. Drogheda, 1858.

Your post mentions "Kingston", "Mary Ann" "James" and "Dungannon" which could all suggest a connection. Could my GEORGE MCSHANE be a brother of your "CHARLES MCSHANE"?
