If there is anyone out there interested, I have in my possession a four page letter of Dr. McShane written in 1778. He lived on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn. I found him in the census of 1880.I have no idea what the letter is about or why it is in my possession. The handwriting is good, just hard to decipher. In any case, I will preserve it.
