McSherry Family from County Cork

There were McSherry's in NYC, in the 1960's. One of them owned McSherry's restaurant, one was John McSherry the infamous umpire for Major League Baseball. Also believe another was Bernie or Bertie. Will double check with my dad about where the family originated. I know McSherry's restaurant, was across from Connor's Funeral Home, where my dad worked. I remember as a child going the restaurant and being treated like a Queen, by Mr.McSherry himself. Nothing but the best Shirley Temple made by him. My dad and his brothers knew the McSherry's well. I don't think they were related just good friends.
