He was born around 1828. He got married to Mary McCarthy between 1848 and 1849 in some RC parish other than Currow. They had seven children. They were living in Kilcow 1850 when their first child Edmund was born but moved to Rathnaleen by 1854 and lived there for the birth of the rest of their children.

What happened to Edmund, Denis, Bridget, Michael, Mary and Johanna? How is Myles related to his children’s godparents Edward and Ellen, maybe a brother/cousin?

I have extracted the following information from Griffiths Valuation 1853 for Rathnaleen. The townland consisted of 375 acres with a £133 valuation. The owners (i.e. lessors) of the land were; Maunsell H. Andrews, Edmond McSweeney and Thomas Connor. The tenants or Occupiers (of interest):
 Myles McSweeney on 46 acres
 Maurice Connor with house, office and garden
 Thomas McSweeney on 36 acres
 Denis McSweeney on 39 acres
 Thomas Connor land only 19 acres
 Daniel McSweeney with house only
 Martin Connor junior with house, office and land 17 acres
 Martin Connor senior with house and land 2 acres

What was his family relationship if any to Edmond, Maurice, Daniel and Thomas? How did he die and where is he buried? Myles died in 1893 aged 65.

The Tithe Applotments for the Parish of Killeentierna, Co. Kerry dated 1827 shows the following: Rathnaleen (i.e. Ranaleen) - Florence Mahony, Daniel Mahony and John Mahony sharing 66 acres.
What was his family relationship if any to fellow tenants Denis and John?
